For Advocating Our Members & Facilitating Local Governance the event “Eggs & Issues | Gallatin-Madison Joint County Commission Meetings” which is bi-annual meeting is a two-part forum. First, Eggs & Issues brings to light a specific issue challenging the Big Sky Community within the Big Sky Chamber’s Strategic Priorities. Immediately following, the Gallatin-Madison Joint County Commission Meeting is held wherein Big Sky leaders inform the community’s two local governing bodies about relevant and timely issues to facilitate better local governance.

Business Days at The Capitol
This event is held in Helena every January. During odd numbered years the event coincides with the opening of the biennial Legislature. During even numbered years the event coincides with the opening of ‘Campaign Season’ – the first day of filing for political office. It brings together business leaders and government officials to talk face-to-face and participate in a variety of educational and networking events. This is a terrific opportunity to speak directly with elected officials and to learn about the current business climate in Montana
