There is nothing standard about doing business in Big Sky. As a census-designated place straddling two counties, it is up to the hard work and creativity of our 7 special districts, numerous nonprofits, and local business leaders to assist Big Sky in its evolution from a destination ski resort to a sustainable community. The Big Sky Chamber, in working to Create a Positive Business Climate, created this Leadership Development program with the goal to provide a comprehensive look at the people, organizations, issues, and hard work being done to assist Big Sky in its evolution from a destination ski resort to a sustainable community, and to position it as the premier community in Montana to LIVE – WORK – PLAY – VISIT and DO BUSINESS.
