YOUR VOTE COUNTS! ARE YOU REGISTERED?

The 2020 Big Sky Special Purpose District Elections will be held on May 5th. Regular voter registration for both Gallatin and Madison County residents closes on April 6th, and absentee ballots will be sent out on April 15th. There won’t be any voting booths, this is mail-in ONLY election. Your ballots must be mailed between April 15th-20th. Make sure to vote! Register by following the links below.

The U.S. Census Bureau is kicking off the 2020 Census on April 1st. Policymakers use census data to plan public infrastructure projects like schools, hospitals and highways. Each Montanan is worth about $2,000/year, and $20,000/decade. Plus, an additional Montana congressional seat is on the line. So, do your part, and get counted!

Are You Real ID Ready?

Planning a trip? Beginning October 1st, all travelers will need a REAL ID to board commercial flights. REAL IDs have a gold star in the upper right hand corner, as pictured here. To get your REAL ID you must make an in-person visit to the Montana Motor Vehicle Division and bring documents proving your citizenship. Appointments are months out, so book one now.
