* Bozeman; 45 miles - Home to Montana State University, Bozeman offers museums, numerous cultural opportunities, fine art galleries and shopping on historic Main Street.
•Ennis; 103 miles – The Madison River runs right through this small town, world-renowned for its trout fishing. Enjoy the quaint galleries, shopping, and museums.
•Hebgen & Quake Lakes; 58 miles – Hebgen Lake offers excellent boating and fishing opportunities in a spectacular setting. Just a few miles below Hebgen Dam lies Quake Lake formed by a large 7.5 magnitude earthquake in 1959. A visitor’s center is open Memorial Day to Labor Day.
•Virginia & Nevada Cities; 118 miles – Just 15 miles past Ennis, these one-of-a-kind towns offer a glimpse into Montana’s rough-and-tumble past. Built in the 1860s during the gold rush, many buildings still appear much the way they did 140 years ago.
